Heart of Texas Theraputic Riding Center was established in 2000. While it was not the dream of The Wills family, it was God's plan for them. It Started with two horses, MR. Black Tie Affair and Mercedes - two quarter horses out of Skip A Star, purchased from Linda Green, God used a brain tumor of Teri Wills to motivate the Wills to use their horses to help children and adults with disabilities. Over the last twenty years HOTTRC has touched the lives of many people to appreciate the role of horses in our lives.

Equine Therapy provides oppertunities for individuals with varying physical and emotional levels to challenge themselves and set goals. While also providing social, educational, and sport opportunities wich are adapted to individuales with disabilities.
Elite therapy is on site to provide speech therapy, physical therapy, and occupational therapy.

Aquatic Therapy is a rehabilitation method providing proprioceptive and taticle input. The water provides a safe and supported environment surrounding the body with even pressure.
